At VCS Engineering, we believe that knowledge is a critical first step toward sustainable infrastructure. In 2025, we’ve made it our mission to share that knowledge widely—empowering engineers, asset owners, and construction professionals with the tools they need to preserve and extend the life of their structures.

Through in-person seminars, virtual presentations, and the release of our Educatioal Presentation Program, our team is actively leading education efforts focused on corrosion prevention, concrete durability, and infrastructure resilience. Here’s a look at the initiatives already underway this year—and how you can get involved.

2025 We Save Structures Tour: A North American Knowledge Exchange

Just last month, our team wrapped up the 2025 We Save Structures  Seminar Tour— an intensive educational seminar series focused on using ACI 562 Repair Code and ACI 563 Repair Specifications to achieve more durable and effective concrete repairs.

Alongside our NDT Division, we joined Vector Corrosion Technologies and Vector Construction to deliver seminars in 12 cities across North America.

Over 650+ attendees gained insights into common repair challenges, explored real-world case studies, and learned how to implement best practices for corrosion control, non-destructive testing, and structural restoration. The response was overwhelming, and the conversations were invaluable!

Join us for the Advanced Assessment Webinar Series (In Progress)

We’re proud to be a featured presenter in the Advanced Assessment Webinar Series, hosted by the Concrete Preservation Alliance. This free, four-part webinar series aims to elevate best practices and spotlight cutting-edge techniques in structural evaluation and preservation.

Topics include:

  • Investigation Techniques for PT Voids
  • Corrosion 101 and Condition Assessments
  • Post-Disaster Testing
  • Unknown Foundations

Each live 1-hour webinar is eligible for 1.0 Professional Development Hour, certified by the NCSEA—making it an ideal opportunity for professionals looking to expand their expertise from anywhere in the world.

Don't miss your chance to join us for "Corrosion 101 and Condition Assessments" this Wednesday, May 21. With two convenient times—6–7 AM and 12–1 PM CDT—you can join from anywhere in the world to gain valuable insights from our experts.

New for 2025: Custom Educational Presentations for Your Team

In response to growing demand, VCS Engineering and our NDT Division is excited to launch our new Educational Presentation Program, tailored for structural engineers, consultants, and asset owners seeking deeper insights into concrete durability and assessment.

 Choose from three focused topics:

1. Deciphering Distress:

Corrosion Evaluations for Aging Concrete Infrastructure

2. Extending Service Life:

Advanced Corrosion Mitigation for Harsh Environments

3. Load Rating Without Plans:

Non-Destructive Testing for Concrete Structure Evaluation

Presentations can be delivered in-person or virtually, and are available as a one, two, or three-part series—making them fully customizable to suit your team’s schedule and technical needs!

At VCS Engineering, education isn’t just a side effort—it’s an essential part of our mission to promote sustainability, performance, and longevity in our infrastructure. We look forward to continuing our educational efforts in 2025, and hope you join us in shaping a smarter, more resilient built environment!
